Drabble

Chris and I discovered that in the comic strip Drabble that the family dog is named Wally. So we always check to see if the strip for that day has anything to do with Wally. They are pretty funny.

Tuesday....

I volunteered to make a McAnulty (My Mom’s side of the family) Family Cookbook. I thought easy peasy… I can do this. Yeah well it has become a pain in my A double dollar signs. Between my OCD and my perfection gene (what side of the family that comes from I have no idea?) this had turned into one big production. Time at this point is working against me. Time just sucks LOL But It will get done and it will ROCK!!!!

We had snow on Monday and that sooo put me in the Christmas spirit. Hubby’s money account is feeling the brunt of that spirit. But HEY the presents are plentiful under the tree and in many hiding places that the guys haven't found yet. The snow was great. I love to watch it. The Wally Dog hated it. LoL I just had to take him out to “play” in the snow. I call it play he calls it… endure it long enough to pee and get my A double dollar signs back in the house. LoL

I bought a Hummingbird feeder a long time ago and for some reason we have this little bird that shows up and acts like a hummingbird LoL. I finally had the camera handy to take a couple of shots.

San Diego II

Off I went to San Diego... I won't lie.... I wanted to get back there and see Frankie. We (Wally dog & myself) get there and it's like we never left. We get there on Friday and the big move was on Sunday.

This time Chris came to visit after they had moved into the new condo. He flew into town on Wednesday and Frankie got to meet Grampy!!

My goal every day was to make him smile. It didn't matter how silly I had to get I did it. It made his Mom & Dad smile and it was so worth it!!

Here is my favorite. I have no idea what is going on but that is what showed up lol. It's soooo freaking cute!!!

San Diego

Last Monday I headed out to sunny San Diego, California to visit with Laura, Frank & Lil' Frankie and had an absolute blast. Laura needed an extra pair of hands while packing for their move. I was more than happy to help out : ) . Frankie is the sweetest baby. I hated leaving when I did but I had to get home. I took Wally Dog with me and that was an experience in its self but after a couple of days he was one of the “girls” with Sage and Sofie. I brought along his bed and it wasn’t long before Sage had made it hers so I left it for her. Sofie pushes her way in it from time to time. LoL - BTW Laura … your Dad and John liked the Chicken Tacos. I didn’t screw it up. LMAO - Here are a few photos from the week. Just wanted to thank Laura and Frank for having me for a visit and will be back soon. Love ya'll

Well Here I Go!!

1. I hate getting in a car with less than half a tank of gas. When I was first started driving and I was living with my Grandmother she drilled it in to me that I never let the tank get less than half a tank. I have lived by that since I was 15 years old. There are more fights around this house due to the fact that someone (Chris) will wait till the red light comes on before he puts gas in any vehicle. Then I have drive the car and worry if I am going to run out of gas on my way to fill it up. I get soooo pi$$ed! He thinks I am crazy. lol

2. I love photos! I love taking them. seeing them, printing them... putting them around the house. I have always loved watching the way people (kids) change over time. If I had my way there would be photos everywhere in my house. I mean everywhere!!

3. Crafts are my weakness. I love to sew & cross-stitch but the catch is.... I can't sew using a pattern!! lol Yeah its crazy! I never took Home Ec in school so when I make something its from my imagination not a pattern. I can't wait till we move into the new house so I can use my craft room.

4. I have conversations with my Wally Dog! Sometimes he is the only one that listens and when he cocks his head to one side and just looks at me I think he "might" be listening and he really is understanding me. I know he only understands.... "outside" and "go for a walk". That is why we spell these words in my house. lol

5. I hate dusting. I would rather spend all day cleaning the rest of the house than dust one shelf. It's hard to explain but I would pay someone to come in just to dust.

6. Sometimes I hate that I notice everything! I MEAN EVERYTHING! I notice the stupid stuff that normal people don't. Sometimes this helps but most of the time it is just annoying.

Arrrggghhhh!!!

So we are just hangin' out! The weather is changing which is wonderful. I am so tired of the heat! I love wearing shorts and skirts but when you walk about the door and all you do is sweat!!!! ughhhh Yeah, I am tired of hearing its a dry heat!! We are excited about going to SD to see Frankie and Preston's 1st Birthday is coming up!! Oh and just FYI I have quit smoking!!! I haven't had a stoggie since 8-14-2008. It's hard but yet it's easy. Very hard to explain!!!

Wow It really has been along time since

I made a post.

Right now we are looking at houses. We found a couple we like but we are going to spend all day tomorrow with the real estate guy looking at more houses. We have looked at so many listing on the internet and in person that they are all starting to look the same. We really want a 3 car garage but then we run into not enough square footage in the house for everything. We looked at a huge house yesterday but it has a two car garage. It had so much square footage it was almost too much house.

Yes. I have been a slacker!!!

I haven't been updating like I should so this might be a little long as far as pics go. Let's see... what has happened since the last time we blogged?? Chris has installed a few new things on the "2 Nauti" such as a new anchor, a windlass (the thing that brings the anchor up), ice maker, a nice radio and speakers on the back deck of the boat and a new shower head. Other than that it's business as usual.

OH yeah!! Chris got me a new camera. Nikon D60. I am working with the different lenses.

New Boat Pics!!

Ha Ha ! Not what you thought it was. I have this great 4x6 photo paper that is sticky on the back and they stick anywhere... I mean anywhere! Since we got the new printer that prints photos like a pro I have been printing like crazy. So we put these photos on the boat so even though you aren't here in person you are here in our hearts.

This last one is a couple of pics I took in Jamaica. They turned out so well in B&W I had to put them on the boat too.

The Gator Lives!!!!

A couple of weeks ago we were cleaning out the garage and found "The Gator". This gator has been around for 15 years. We took it out to the lake today and OMGoodness it lives.
